Cool Haus Design came to us with a dual challenge; to stand apart from Australia’s mass-produced, disconnected housing market, and to shape a brand that genuinely reflected the Founder’s values, personality, and design philosophy. Our task was to bring this vision to life with the same care and intentionality that Michelle brings to every one of her homes.
In an industry dominated by hard, linear, and overly masculine aesthetics, Michelle offers something more for her clients; design that prioritises happiness, well-being, and a deeper connection to nature. Her approach is underpinned by thoughtfulness, simplicity and human-centred living. With a strong proposition, our goal was to visually and verbally express this ethos through a brand and digital presence that felt calm yet creative, organic yet precise.
From the visual identity to the website experience, we brought this blend of softness, cleverness, and functionality to life, so potential clients immediately sense they’ve entered a space that values more than just design and deadlines. Blending strategy, storytelling and intentional aesthetics, we crafted a website that feels personal and peaceful, using warm, jargon-free copy, careful transitions, and visuals to reflect the tone of her work.
More than a portfolio, the website serves as a practical business tool, streamlining Michelle’s client onboarding process and positioning her as both designer and advocate. One key feature was developing a flexible, cost effective platform that could grow with her brand over time. We ensured the site communicated her process with simplicity, highlighted her unique voice, and gave her the confidence to showcase her services with ease.
Through our collaborative process, Michelle not only launched her brand, but also gained clarity around her offerings, messaging, and what sets her apart. She left the process with language that represents her work and a digital space that invites the right and aligned people in.
The result? Within a week of launching, Michelle secured two new clients, proof that clarity, alignment and strategic and creative design doesn't just look good, they work!

Using considered visuals and copy, the brand now speaks with warmth and clarity, removing industry jargon to connect with clients on a deeply personal level.
We positioned Michelle not just as a designer, but as an advocate for sustainable, considered living, championing homes that prioritise wellbeing.
From the immersive homepage to its calming transitions, the site invites users to slow down, echoing the feeling of stepping into a space designed with care, intention and room to breathe.
The website was designed as both a showcase and a business tool with an interactive contact process that supports Michelle’s client onboarding process.
A simple, on-brand digital portfolio was created to use while the website was in development, showcasing Michelle's vision from day one.
